What I think: Reeves, Love, and Tillmanns posit that organisations have their choice of four strategic styles – classical, adaptive, shaping, and visionary – and can use a matrix of malleability and predictability to select the right choice. It’s a good reminder that there is no single best approach for strategy: your environment is the critical factor for making strategic choices.
